With the advent of NFL football season (Go Cowboys!) and the fall TV season, I now have good reasons to park myself on the couch and stitch for longer periods of time. I've picked up my former incentive piece, Evergreen by Blackbird Designs. I don't remember what fabric I'm using, but I do know it's 28 count linen and I'm using CCs and GAST. I still have to do the lazy daisy stitches on the one pomegranate on the lower right. It's a good thing my mother taught me to embroider and do all those stitches when I was a young whippersnapper.
Eventhough the Cowboys are off to a 0-2 start, I have faith that they'll turn the ship around and whoop up on the rest of the teams they play in the weeks to come. Stay tuned for an update on that!
